FESTIVAL DE LANVELLEC ET DU TRÉGOR

FESTIVAL DE LANVELLEC ET DU TRÉGOR - France

FESTIVAL DE LANVELLEC ET DU TRÉGOR
L’association Rencontres internationales de musique ancienne en Trégor (RIMAT) was created in 1986, to support an artistic and cultural project based on an exceptional heritage: the presence in the church of Lanvellec (Côtes d'Armor), a village of 550 inhabitants, of an organ unique in the world. The Lanvellec Festival was born from the desire to make the organ of Robert Dallam (1653) in Lanvellec sound and be valued. The first edition took place in 1986 and is now a major meeting point for baroque music, welcoming musicians and ensembles of international renown.
