Les Marteaux de Gellone - Fabrique de Musiques Médiévales #8

The 8th edition of the LES MARTEAUX DE GELLONE-FABRIQUE DE MUSIQUES MÉDIÉVALES festival is a celebration and dialogue of modal music, whether Western medieval, traditional or world music.

Through concerts, study days, a restitution workshop, an archaeo-luthery salon and street music, the Centre International de Musiques Médiévales - du ciel aux marges, offers you a timeless moment to bring medieval music back to life. This year's 2025 program features 2 student creations, one from Georgia as part of the Erasmus program, the other from the CIMM Ensemble-school, alongside medieval music professionals: Maria Gimenez and Brice Duisit, Chloé Loneiriant and her flautists, the Un Chemin de Musique ensemble, the Chantres du Thoronet ensemble, and the Alkymia ensemble.
And to thank all those who have made its history, the CIMM will be celebrating its 10th anniversary with an exceptional evening on Saturday May 31: come one, come all!
The festival will take place from May 23 to June 1, 2025 in the village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a mecca for medieval spirituality.
