Les Marteaux de Gellone - Medieval Music Factory

The 7th edition of the festival Les Marteaux de Gellone, FABRIQUE DE MUSIQUES MÉDIÉVALES: a festival celebrating and promoting dialogue between modal music, whether Western medieval, traditional or world music.
The Centre International de Musiques Médiévales - du ciel aux marges (International Centre for Medieval Music - from the skies to the margins) offers a timeless opportunity to bring medieval music back to life through concerts, study days, workshops, an archaeo-luthery fair and street music.
The 2024 programme features the latest creations from medieval music ensembles Lo Mot E Lo on, La Compagnie Rassegna, Ensemble Irini, Ensemble Arborescence and Ensemble Tasto Solo. The festival will be held from 18 to 26 May 2024 in the village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a major centre of medieval spirituality.
