The sixth edition of the festival Les Marteaux de Gellone, FABRIQUE DE MUSIQUES MÉDIÉVALES : a festival that honours modal music, whether medieval, traditional, or world music.
Through concerts, study days, restitutions workshops, street music, and exhibitions of archaeo-lutherie, the Centre International de Musiques Médiévales – du ciel aux marges offers you a while outside of time to give a new lease of life to medieval music.
The festival takes place from the 19th to the 28th of May in Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert in the South of France, a center of medieval spirituality, which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
