Les Passions de l'Âme - Switzerland

Since 2008, Les Passions de l'Âme has been providing fresh listening. With unique programme creations and commented concerts, the baroque ensemble arouses curiosity towards unknown as well as familiar repertoire of the 17th - 19th centuries. Long-standing cooperation partnerships (e.g. with the Zentrum Paul Klee, the Bernese Münster Children's and Youth Choir, the University of Bern and Solomon's Knot from London), innovative concert formats and dedicated music outreach projects inspire its concert activities.

The academy in historically informed performance practice with teachers from the orchestra Les Passions de l'Âme is aimed at instrumentalists: younger, older and timeless amateurs, students and professionals.

Baroque instruments are preferred, but players of modern instruments are also welcome. Without fear of contact, we dive side by side into practical performance questions, whether in individual lessons, chamber music lessons (for existing groups) and at our orchestra academy (compulsory for all participants) as well. Meret Lüthi will lead the academy orchestra.
