Utrecht Early Music Festival 2022: Galanterie

On Thursday, 12 May, the Utrecht Early Music Festival will announce the programme of the 2022 edition (26 August - 4 September). Under the title Galanterie, the festival explores the refinement of the late eighteenth-century. The sons of J.S. Bach will receive special attention, while international manifestations of Empfindsamkeit and the Rococo will help place their work in a broader perspective. The festival will include a daily programme of livestreams via the recently launched streaming service Early Music Television. Physical ticket sales open on 1 June (pre-sales for Friends open in May).
