Centered on its primary purpose, which is the diffusion of the Portuguese musical heritage, MAAC's activity covers different areas that contribute to its concretization: music editions (scores and CDs); early music festivals, concerts; musicological studies; courses and workshops to disseminate historical performance. Founded in 2010, MAAC is following the work developed by João Janeiro since 1986 that has promoted actions in Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, Norway, Swizerland, Germany and Iceland.
