YOU-BO Young Baroque Orchestra

YOU-BO – Young Baroque Orchestra is the new MAAC project that aims to bring together young musicians to form a Baroque orchestra with historical principles. YOU-BO emerges from the successful training of young people within the scope of the CIMA- International Early Music Courses. It will have its first activity from the 20th to the 22nd of January 2023, in Idanha-a-Nova City of Music of Unesco. YOU-BO has the artistic direction of one of the most renowned European Baroque violinists, Lorenzo Colitto, and aims to provide opportunities to students from secondary and higher education music schools and conservatories, with a particular focus on those from Beira Interior Region and Spanish Extremadura.
