First UK tour for El Gran Teatro del Mundo

Winners of the Cambridge Early Music Prize at the York Early Music International Young Artists Competition in 2019, this six piece ensemble will be embarking on their first ever UK tour this Autumn. Specialising in music from the 17th & 18th centuries the ensemble will celebrating the musical genius of Vivaldi, Telemann and Fasch in a programme of work entitled The Art of Conversation. El Gran Teatro del Mundo will appear at the National Centre for Early Music in York after appearing at St John Smith’s Square, London; Turner Sims Concert Hall, Southampton; Cambridge Early Music; Lakeside Arts, Nottingham; and St George’s Concert Hall, Bristol.
