Early Music America Summit 2026: three days dedicated to the future of early music

Hosted at wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ (Intellectual House) on the University of Washington campus, the 2026 Summit will offer a space for professionals, artists, educators and organisations to exchange ideas and reflect on the current and future challenges facing the field of early music.

Alongside the programme of talks and workshops, the event will feature the Young Performers Festival, the Emerging Artists Showcase, as well as performances by local partners including Sound Salon, Seattle Bach Festival and the Byrd Ensemble.

The Summit will also provide opportunities for organisations to present their work and connect with professionals from the wider early music community through its exhibition programme.

For those unable to attend in person, all Summit sessions will be available via livestream, making the programme accessible to an international audience.
