CIMMedieval : Annual cycle of concerts

We have the honor of presenting the annual concert cycle and the III International Course on Medieval Music, face-to-face, which takes place at the Royal Monastery of Santa María de la Valldigna (Simat de la Valldigna, Valencia). It is embellished with an illustration from The Consolation of Philosophy, written by Boethius in the year 523, considered the most important and influential work in the medieval and early Renaissance Christian West. Boethius writes the book as a conversation between himself and the personification of Philosophy, who consoles the author by talking about the transitory nature of fame and wealth.
