Cantoría / ECOS Festival - Spain

Cantoría is an acclaimed Spanish vocal ensemble specializing in the performance and research of Renaissance and early Baroque music, with a fresh, dynamic and historically informed approach. Founded in Barcelona in 2016, the group has quickly gained international recognition for its vibrant interpretations and its commitment to rediscovering the richness of the Iberian vocal heritage.
Cantoría is also the driving force behind the organization of ECOS Festival, the International Festival of Early Music of Sierra Espuña (Murcia Region), held across the six municipalities of Aledo, Alhama, Librilla, Mula, Pliego and Totana. ECOS combines concerts, nature, cultural heritage, family-friendly activities and unique tourist experiences centred around ancient music. The festival also includes ECOS Labs, an innovative training and networking platform designed to attract young professionals specializing in early music from around the world and help them integrate into the international music scene.
Cantoría has achieved major international success through award-winning recordings, invitations to perform at renowned European festivals, and collaborations with leading cultural institutions. ECOS has become a unique cultural reference in Spain, enriching the Region of Murcia’s cultural and tourist offering, and promoting local and regional heritage while connecting it to audiences and artists across Europe.
