Theresia Orchestra signs with German CPO label

Theresia Orchestra and the German CPO label, both committed to promoting overlooked classical repertoire, have united in a long-term collaboration. Commencing with Joseph Martin Kraus, they plan to release various new albums featuring seldom-performed orchestral pieces and opera rarities by composers like Eichner, Cimarosa, Rossini, Traetta over the next two years.

'Overtures' is the first release as part of this partnership featuring the complete overtures composed by Kraus - known as the 'Swedish Mozart' - during his tenure at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. Theresia Orchestra is conducted by Claudio Astronio on this new album, which is available now.
