REMA Summer Academy: Copenhagen
From 23 to 24 June 2026, REMA is organising the second edition of its Summer Academy in Copenhagen, in partnership with Concerto Copenhagen and the Copenhagen Renaissance Music Festival. Designed as a space for reflection, training and exchange, this academy brings together early music professionals to address the major sustainability challenges facing the sector.
The programme is structured around three main themes, explored through lectures and participatory workshops grounded in professional realities:
- Art & Society: rethinking the role of artists and early music in contemporary society.
- Early Music as Living Heritage: passing on a living heritage to future generations.
- Audience Sustainability: building and engaging audiences for the long term.
A session dedicated to communication and advocacy will round off the programme, providing practical tools to win over new partners and defend the place of early music in cultural policy.
Each day will also offer opportunities for discussion and networking, encouraging the sharing of experiences and the creation of new collaborations.
This event is reserved exclusively for REMA members.
