Early music summit
From 24 to 27 November 2026, REMA is organising the third edition of the Early Music Summit, which will take place in Bruges and Ghent, in partnership with Concertgebouw Brugge, the Orpheus Instituut and Muziekcentrum De Bijloke. Designed as a highlight for the sector, the Summit aims to be a dynamic space for meeting, reflection and collective momentum.
This new edition is centred on a bold ambition, embodied by its tagline What we stand for: an invitation to return to what truly matters: what unites us and what our values express to the world and about the world.
The programme, designed as a true laboratory of ideas, will offer a variety of formats promoting exchange and co-creation, with the 2026 REMA Awards ceremony as the main highlight:

- Panels and discussions bringing together stakeholders from across the sector;
- Continuous thematic streams (research, education, repertoire, performance practices, etc.) ;
- Project presentations and pitches to share ideas and find inspiration;
- Masterclasses with experts from the cultural sector;
- Participatory workshops, at the heart of the collective experience.
