Laure Baert, the new artistic advisor of the Festival de Sablé

The Sablé Festival will take place from Wednesday 24 to Saturday 27 August 2022. This new edition marks the arrival of Laure Baert as artistic advisor of the festival. Since 2017, Laure Baert is in charge of the programme of the Festival International de Musique Baroque de Froville. As a soprano singer, she won the "Voix d'Or Opéra" at the Concours National des Voix d'Or in 2003 and was noticed at the Queen Elisabeth International Competition in 2004. Laure Baert has performed on the opera stage in numerous productions (Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream, Dido and Aeneas, Venus and Adonis conducted by Christophe Rousset, La Vie Parisienne, Carmen, The Barber of Seville, Pergolesi's La Serva Padrona...). She also taught piano and singing. Laure Baert, Yannick Javaudin and the team of L'Entracte, with the support of the City of Sablé-sur-Sarthe, are currently working to set up the 2022 edition of the Festival de Sablé.
