300th Anniversary of Telemann's taking office in Hamburg
In autumn 1721 Georg Philipp Telemann came from Frankfurt to the River Elbe to take office as the honourable director of music. The Hamburg Telemann Society pays tribute to this anniversary with two concerts, in cooperation with Hamburger Ratsmusik. The concert will feature exactly the works Telemann himself performed at his entry in Hamburg, including the previously unpublished cantata ”Kommet her zu mir alle”.
