EUBO opens applications for its 2026 auditions
The European Union Baroque Orchestra (EUBO) is now accepting applications for its 2026 audition programme, offering outstanding young baroque musicians the opportunity to take the next step in their professional careers.
Designed as a bridge between higher education and the professional world, EUBO brings together talented performers from across Europe to gain invaluable experience in historically informed performance through artistic residencies, concerts and collaborations with internationally renowned specialists. Successful applicants will receive learning grants covering participation in at least four artistic residencies as part of the 2026 programme.
Audition details
The live auditions will take place in Frankfurt (Germany), in partnership with the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main (HfMDK), from 3 to 5 October 2026.
Applications must be submitted by 3 September 2026 (23:59 CET). The selection process includes both a musical audition and a motivation interview, reflecting EUBO's commitment to supporting not only artistic excellence but also the personal and professional development of its musicians.

EUBO welcomes applications from young musicians specialising in historically informed performance who are eager to develop their orchestral experience within an international environment.
