As the new year begins, the entire REMA team is looking forward to meeting its members and partners at the many events that will take place throughout 2026. With collective highlights, new encounters and major sector events, the coming months will mark an important milestone for the European early music community!
First conference of the year in Valletta: General Assembly and welcome for new members
The first meeting of the year will take place in Valletta (Malta) from 20 to 22 January, during the network's General Assembly. This key moment in the life of the network will also be an opportunity to officially welcome the 34 new members who have joined REMA, further strengthening the diversity and representativeness of the network across Europe and beyond!

Early Music Day 2026: a global event for the entire sector
On 21 March 2026, the entire early music sector is invited to come together for a new edition of Early Music Day, the network's flagship annual event. This year, REMA is delighted to have two committed and inspiring ambassadors: Lucie Horsch and Sarah Jeffery, who will bring the voice of early music to an ever-wider audience.
Towards the third edition of the Early Music Summit
Another highlight to come is the third edition of the Early Music Summit, which will be held in Bruges and Ghent from 24 to 27 November. This major European event will once again bring together all professionals in the sector to discuss the major artistic, social and structural challenges facing early music. The first details of the programme will be revealed during the first half of the year.
