20 years anniversary of the Early music department - Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles

After the annual symposium focused on music making in Brussels in 17th and 18th centuries, encounters with major Belgian Early Music pioneers will happen : Christmas Cantatas under the direction of Sigiswald Kuijken in December ; in February, present and former students will unite in situ, performing early repertoire composed for Brussel’s cathedral, under the direction of Guy van Waas and Bernard Foccroulle ; meetings with Barthold Kuijken and Paul Dombrecht during the Early instruments fair ; classical keyboard and orchestral project under the direction of Jos van Immerseel in April and June.
