So-called "early music" has gained increasing importance in the concert life of recent decades. The Institute of Early Music brings together the varying range of competence in the spheres of early music and its performance practice by merging different specialist subjects. The aim is for students to gain a qualification which takes account of their inclinations as well as their professional perspectives. The institute coordinates and organises relevant teaching classes, courses, lectures and project work.
