Murikultur - Musik in der Klosterkirche - Switzerland

As part of the Murikultur Foundation, Musik in der Klosterkirche (Music in the Abbey Church) presents itself as a concert series at the intersection of sacred tradition and contemporary cultural life. Founded in 1970 in the wake of the restoration of the Abbey’s historic organs, the series has, for more than five decades, demonstrated that there is no contradiction between preserving the Benedictine heritage of a sacred space and using a national monument as a vibrant cultural venue. Today it is widely recognised as one of Switzerland’s leading concert series for early music, attracting audiences and artists from across Europe.
