The REMA Studies 2024 are now out!
We are pleased to announce that the REMA Studies 2024 are now available!

What defines early music professionals today? How do they navigate the delicate balance between artistic creation, heritage preservation, and the practical demands of concert production—all while facing the pressing societal and environmental challenges of our time?

"Making early music today: The forces at work" offers a timely snapshot of the early music sector as it stands in 2024, shedding light on the key traits, challenges, and aspirations of its actors today.

Thanks to the participation of around 80 organisations across 17 countries—most of which REMA members—this study reflects a broad and dynamic range of voices from ensembles, festivals, concert halls, and other organisations operating in early music.

This publication is not only a resource for reflection, but also a tool for action—highlighting opportunities for growth and collaboration, both within REMA and beyond.
