The Early Music Summit programme is taking shape!
Taking place from 24 to 27 November 2026 in Bruges and Ghent, the third edition of the Early Music Summit will bring together artists, researchers, presenters, educators and other professionals from across the sector around the theme “What we stand for”. Unlike most REMA conferences, the Summit is open to both REMA members and non-members, offering a unique opportunity to meet and exchange with professionals from across the wider early music sector. With almost 100 participants already registered, representing organisations from across Europe and beyond, the Summit is already shaping up to be a dynamic space for encounters and exchange.
New highlights are now available to explore, including the showcases hosted by Kunstenpunt, bringing together a selection of artists and projects from across the early music sector. The first confirmed speakers are also now featured on the programme, with many more names and sessions still to be announced in the coming weeks.
And there is more to come! For the first time, 2-day tickets are now on sale, making it easier to join the Summit and get a glimpse of its programme, discussions and encounters. Whether you are interested in artistic practices, research, education, professional development, sustainability, heritage or new ways of connecting with audiences, the Summit offers opportunities to exchange ideas and meet colleagues from across the field.
If you are planning to join us, a little reminder: registration for the Early Music Summit closes on 23 October 2026. So don’t wait too long to secure your place.

And, importantly, if you would like to celebrate this year’s nominees and winners with us, make sure to book your ticket for the REMA Awards Ceremony as well. This year, the ceremony will bring together Summit participants to celebrate inspiring projects from across the sector and reveal the winners in the three award categories: Creation & Repertoire, Audience Engagement, and Professional Development.
