REMA participates in the EMA Summit 2025
Each year, the EMA Summit brings together the early music community from North and South America for three days of conferences, workshops, concerts and meetings. It is an unmissable event for discovering, discussing and thinking together about the future of early music on an international scale.

The 2025 edition will be held from 17 to 19 October and will adopt a hybrid format.

  • On Friday, 17 October, a special day will be organised live from McGill University's Schulich School of Music in Montreal and broadcast worldwide.
  • On 18 and 19 October, the summit will continue with two days of entirely virtual presentations and discussions.
  • For participants on site, watch parties will allow them to follow the activities at McGill together.
REMA will have the pleasure of participating in the round table discussion ‘Early Music: A Global Conversation,’ alongside representatives from Canada, the United States, and Latin America, on Friday, 17 October, 5:15–6:15 p.m. (Montreal time). This live, in-person discussion will highlight issues of cooperation, artist mobility, and dialogue between continents in the field of early music.

Registration is open to all, on a pay-what-you-can basis: any amount, even a symbolic one, gives access to all summit activities and recordings, available until April 2026.
