Armonico Tributo plays with the conflict between different states of consciousness, our sense of control and the idea of letting go. Through music and dance the connection between the tangible and the intangible is visualized to incarnate the spirit of the music. Just as the music blends different languages, the dancer takes you on a visual and emotional journey that connects to the depth of music through a cohesive movement language.
The video was brought to life in a cooperation between Concerto Copenhagen, dancer and choreographer Emma Farnell-Watson and broad director Kristian Foldager. The music is two movements from the album “Georg Muffat: Armonico Tributo” by Concerto Copenhagen and Lars Ulrik Mortensen.
