EARLY MUSIC SWEDEN - Sweden's new national stage for early music opened grandly Sunday 4 September at the Musikaliska Kvarteret Concert House in Stockholm, with a splendid performance of Les Arts Florissants led by Paul Agnew.
Since two decades, the vision of a national permanent genre-specific stage has been driven by Stockholm Early Music Festival. Such a focal platform, where Swedish and international early music performers bring 1000 years of cultural heritage and music history to life offering high-quality artistic experiences, all year round, has finally become reality.
Upcoming concerts:{oh!} Orkiestra (Poland), 2 October and Stile Antico (Great Britain), 30 October.
