Early Music Day 2026: Lucie Horsch and Sarah Jeffery, ambassadors
REMA is delighted to announce the appointment of Lucie Horsch and Sarah Jeffery as Early Music Day 2026 Ambassadors! Internationally recognised recorder players, they represent two strong and complementary voices in early music today. Through their careers, projects and commitment, they help bring this repertoire to life well beyond traditional settings, engaging with contemporary creation, education and new audiences.
Lucie Horsch has established herself as one of the leading virtuosos of the new generation. A sought-after soloist with Europe’s leading orchestras and festivals, she is known for her open artistic approach, combining historically informed performance, Baroque repertoire and influences drawn from traditional and contemporary music.
Sarah Jeffery is a performer, educator and content creator. A key figure of the recorder world, she works actively to broaden access to and renew early music, notably through teaching, publishing and digital media, reaching a wide international audience.
