AKADEMIE VERSAILLES 2026

The Akademie Versailles is an international educational project focused on the performance of French Baroque music. It is not only a unique artistic residency, but also one of the few specialist Baroque music courses in Central Europe. It is aimed at advanced students and young professionals who wish to deepen their knowledge of the Baroque style and performance practices. These exceptional courses take place in Prague and attract talented young musicians from all over the world.

In 2026, the Akademie Versailles is offering two parallel masterclasses: one for the Baroque orchestra and the other for singers. Both courses culminate in a joint final concert. Participants work together to rehearse and perform a rich programme featuring works by Jean-Philippe Rameau.
