Wunderkammer is a festival dedicated to Ancient Music performed with historical awareness. From the Middle Ages to the Baroque, to the Classical and even Romantic repertoire, in a collection of sounds and repertoires performed by contemporary musicians who use the instruments of the time to restore liveliness and beauty. Thanks to the study of specific musical techniques, ancient music is revived and revitalized through the personality of the musicians.

The doors of Wunderkammer sometimes also open to less usual repertoires for an ancient music festival: over the years, world music or jazz, passing through rock, have left precious examples of how Wunderkammer understands its role as a witness of that laboratory of infinite possibilities that music represents, today as in the past.
