FESTIVAL BAROCCO ALESSANDRO STRADELLA - Italy
The ALESSANDRO STRADELLA FBAS BAROQUE FESTIVAL of Viterbo and Nepi was born from the desire to create a new and important cultural center in the Province of Viterbo by combining two prestigious cultural initiatives in the area, the BAROQUE FESTIVAL OF VITERBO and the INTERNATIONAL ALESSANDRO STRADELLA DI NEPI FESTIVAL.
The FESTIVAL BAROCCO ALESSANDRO STRADELLA carries out research, training, production, diffusion and music publishing activities. A cultural project that looks to the future by combining attention to the immense Italian heritage and the enhancement of new languages and trends, encouraging young people to approach and raise awareness of the Baroque and contemporary language also through the practice of improvisation.
The Festival is the basis of THE STRADELLA PROJECT, an ambitious recording project of the Arcana (Outhere) label dedicated to the recording of the complete works of his works now in its sixth release, and of STRADELLA Y (oung) -PROJECT, a training project and music production aimed at introducing young artists into the professional world.
