Like no other ensemble, Sanstierce stands for the subtle fusion of traditional music from the Orient and Occident. The ensemble around the singer Maria Jonas and the Djoze player Bassem Hawar brings the Iraqi women's choir Sun of the Arameans into play for the first time in their new program Al Multaqa - Encounters. The title of the program is to be taken literally, when audience and performers meet at long tables with tea and oriental specialities and enter into dialogue not only musically.
