Welcome to SEMF Christmas Edition, EARLY MUSIC SWEDEN’s frosty winter festival with a high cosy factor in the beautiful acoustics of the German Church, in the Old Town of Stockholm!
Warm, dynamic and full of Nordic charm - Midvinterfolk (Emilia Amper & Friends), welcomes Christmas with the enchanting sounds of Swedish folk music, where lively polskas and timeless traditions bring the festive season to life. From Poland, Cracow Singers & Players unveil a treasure trove of Polish Christmas pearls, delicately blended voices and instrumental colours in a celebration of musical beauty and festive wonder. A magical late-night concert on mattresses, where organists Dierks & Sjöström fill the German Church with Christmas sounds from two organs in stereo concludes the festival.
