Savage Vivaldi
23 May France / Lyon
Immersion in The Four Seasons, for a baroque orchestra and soundscape.
La Trinité is not done with The Four Seasons and continues to celebrate it! After Karl Aage Rasmussen and Max Richter last season, we return to Vivaldi's famous masterpiece with this home-made creation that highlights the work's enduring modernity and ecological relevance. In the original 1725 edition, Vivaldi's score is accompanied by four sonnets that evoke the richness of nature's sound, offering a guide for both listening and performance. This text, inseparably musical and poetic, provides the material for an immersive creation for baroque orchestra and soundtrack, where the score on period instruments confronts today's soundscapes. Vivaldi in the age of environment listening.
