Programme Overview
The seminar will take place from 2nd to 4th September 2025 with the following schedule:
- 2 September, 14:00 – 17:00
Opening keynote presentation, musical interlude, and Utrecht Early Music Festival outreach presentations. - 3 September, 10:00 – 17:00
Keynote presentations, interactive workshops with working group sessions, and group discussions. Lunch break provided. - 4 September, 10:00 – 12:30
Closing presentations followed by a roundtable discussion aimed at synthesizing the seminar’s insights into a forward-looking statement on inclusion and openness in early music.

The event will be moderated by Davide Grosso, Director of Programmes & Partnerships at the International Music Council.
This is an indicative programme, subject to slight changes and adjustments.
Participating in the webinars and the in-person training course itself is free of charge.
The participant is responsible for covering their own travel, accommodation, and food & beverage expenses for the in-person seminar.
Taking part in the webinars does not oblige you to take also part in the in-person seminar. However, we suggest that you watch the abbreviated versions of the recordings of the past three webinars, showing the highlights of the conversations.
Participants, who have attended the in-person symposium, will be provided with a Personal Development Certificate on request.
