TERRES DE PASSAGE (WORK IN PROGRESS)
24 October Belgium / Brussels
Where Artistic Worlds Meet
A collective creation opening up new perspectives.
On 23 October, Terres de Passage, the interdisciplinary project conceived by Harold Georges and Antoine Panier, was presented as part of ARTONOV LAB. The event highlighted the value of collaboration between the Early Music Department of the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles, the Drama Department of ARTS² and the ARTONOV Festival, bringing together artists, disciplines and expertise around a shared ambition: to explore new ways of creating.
Blending music, dance, theatre and video, Terres de Passage offered a thoughtful exploration of our relationship with nature and the digital environments that increasingly shape how we perceive the world. On stage, Joseph Haydn’s The Creation intertwined with moving bodies and evolving images, bringing musical heritage, contemporary expression and new technologies into conversation.
Under the musical direction of Vincenzo Casale, director of the ARTONOV Festival, the project demonstrated the power of dialogue across disciplines and generations.
By bringing together the Early Music Department of the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles, and the Drama Department of ARTS², the collaboration created opportunities to exchange practices, share perspectives and shape a collective artistic experience.

This successful collaboration reflects the mission of ARTONOV LAB and KIOSK: to support emerging artists, encourage exchanges between institutions and provide a space where new ideas can be explored, developed and brought to life together.
Beyond the performance itself, Terres de Passage reminds us that artistic innovation often begins with encounters between people, ideas and perspectives. It stands as a testament to the value of collective creation and the ability of the arts to transform the way we see the world.
One shared vision, multiple disciplines and a collective creative spirit: together, new perspectives come to life.
The project is supported by the FIPA–ESA initiative (Federation of Institutions and Artistic Projects of Higher Arts Education).
