Traditional Indian rhythms merge with those of Baroque musical culture. We meet three artists who are well established in their field: Abhisek Lahiri on the sarod, Axel Wolf on the lute, theorbo and saxophone, and Partha Sarathi Mukherjee on the tabla, a pair of large drums. Each brings their own sound world and personal and cultural background to the table. Together, the artists create a sound space that transcends countries and eras.
