Ronald Brautigam plays Mozart
30 June/19h30 United Kingdom / London
Celebrated Dutch fortepianist Ronald Brautigam, who has made highly acclaimed recordings all of Mozart’s concertos and sonatas, as well as those by Haydn and Beethoven, makes his début with The Mozartists in two of Mozart’s charming early concertos. These are framed by the popular Serenata notturna, scored for the unusual combination of strings and timpani, and the delightfully effervescent Divertimento in D major, K.251, allegedly composed as a 25th birthday present for his sister.
