Récital Froberger - Wunderkammer Festival - Lutheran Church
18 October/11h00 Italy / Triesta
Froberger, a vagabond musician who, thanks to his travels through Europe, was able to merge styles and suggestions into an eclectic and extraordinarily fascinating style.
Jean-Marc AYMES :
French harpsichordist, organist and pedagogue, born in 1961, Jean-Marc Aymes was appointed professor of harpsichord at the CNSMDL in 2009, after two years spent as director of the Centre régional d'art baroque de Marseille. He founded the 'Soave Concerto' in the company of the Argentine soprano Maria Cristina Kiehr. Jean-Marc Aymes' openness to contemporary music, a relative rarity among great performers of early music, is reflected in his active participation in the contemporary life of composers, notably through the acceptance of dedications and the creation of several solo works for harpsichord, but also through collaborations with the ensemble Musicatreize directed by Roland Hayrabédian.
The musicological approach of Jean-Marc Aymes, common to many musicians specializing in the Baroque repertoire, is reflected in close collaboration with researchers, particularly with Dinko Fabris, author of the note relating to his recording of the fourth volume of the works of Girolamo Frescobaldi.
