OSLO EARLY 2025

From 12 October to 19 October Norway / Oslo, Norway

For ten years, Oslo Early has showcased the many faces of early music in the heart of the Norwegian capital—a festival where curiosity, excellence, and historical awareness meet in vivid, engaging musical experiences. Since its founding in 2015, the festival has invited audiences to explore music from the Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque, and early Classical periods—performed at the highest artistic level by both established stars and emerging talents.

Oslo Early 2025 celebrates its 10th anniversary with a program that captures the festival’s full scope: from the sacred and contemplative to the virtuosic and playful—from grand ensembles to intimate encounters. Audiences will experience rare instruments, unusual combinations, and original interpretations—all performed on historical principles and in some of Oslo’s most beautiful venues. At the same time, the festival provides a platform for new generations of early musicians, building bridges between the sounds of the past and today’s listeners.
