Mona Lisa - Early Musical

From 30 August to 06 September Netherlands / Utrecht

Festival Oude Music Utrecht features their 7th Ārt House production for 14 shows in a row. Meet them twice a day at 11am and 3pm at Paardenkathedraal in Utrecht. Come and say hello!

Paris, 1911. The Mona Lisa disappears without a trace from the Louvre. The whole of Europe is captivated by the mystery – even Picasso comes into the picture as a suspect. Two years later, she is offered for sale to the director of the Uffizi in Florence. ĀRT HOUSE 17 present this spectacular, true story as a sparkling performance with film, acrobatics, humour and early music. A theatrical ode to the most absurd art theft ever.
