The magnificence of late medieval sacred music comes to life thanks to an extensive research. The Missa was faithfully reconstructed from a tiny Venetian manuscript of the fifteenth century, a true musical gem that is accompanied by other fascinating pieces and laudas of the time found in the same codex. Directed by Claudia Caffagni, the large Ensemble Simonetta will lead us on this journey, rich in voices and instruments such as vielle, flutes, accordions and percussion. The concert is the result of experimental work that allows us to reveal new interpretations and rediscover sounds that were thought lost.
