03 June Poland / GLIWICE

The June edition of the All’Improvviso Festival in Gliwice (Poland) opens with Mille Affetti - a captivating musical project by male soprano Bruno de Sá, one of the world's few true sopranists, praised for his radiant tone and dazzling virtuosity. The program explores the emotional depth of 18th-century opera with arias by Mozart and his contemporaries, bridging vocal brilliance with dramatic sensitivity.

He is joined by the renowned Wrocław Baroque Orchestra, one of Poland's leading period ensembles, known for their historically informed performances across Europe. The orchestra is directed by Jarosław Thiel – a cellist, conductor, and a key figure in the Polish early music scene, praised for his clarity of interpretation and deep musical insight.
Mille Affetti was released by Warner Classics in October 2024, along with a European concert tour including major venues such as the NFM Wrocław, Versailles, Budapest, and Bayreuth.

And all this – in the extraordinary setting of the ruins of the burned-down theatre in Gliwice and will be recorded by ARTE television.

The All'Improvviso festival is a meeting place for exceptional musicians and an international audience. Fifteen editions to date have become a permanent fixture in the calendar of the country's most important musical events, resulting not only in a regularly expanded programme but also in encounters with famous and renowned musicians.
