“Lettur&Note” – The arts in a glass” Tribute to Jane Austen: English romantic songs & ballads

The medieval historic residence La Brunelde in Fagagna will host a recital dedicated to the writer Jane Austen, whose ironic and refined writing astutely portrayed the society of Georgian England. The musical program highlights the elegiac and sentimental atmospheres, intertwined with nature and human passions, of English Romantic poetry. Pages from the writer's emblematic works will transport the audience to the salons of the wealthy landed bourgeoisie of the time. This will be followed by a tasting of the finest Friulian wines. The event is organized in collaboration with the Associazione Dimore Storiche Italiane – Friuli Venezia Giulia section.
