Three Mozart
22 June/20h00 France / Lyon
We all know Mozart. This show juxtaposes some of his essential operatic pieces with works by two of the greatest French contemporaries: Grétry, the master of opéra-comique, and the Martinican-born composer known as the Chevalier de Saint-Georges, one of the greatest Parisian musicians of his time. Presented as staged operatic scenes, the program offers Mozart's great arias alongside the rediscovery of an equally magnificent French repertoire.
