Le Meraviglie di Natale

The night of Christmas and the mystery that fills it have inspired many artists over the ages. For this new intimate programme, works that are sometimes festive, sometimes introspective, are nourished by the both mystical and human dimension of the Christmas celebration. The voices of Wei-Lian Huang and Nicolas Achten converse with the violin and are enveloped by the sound of the theorbo, the harp, the viola da gamba, and the lirone.
