Zamus: early music festival I La vida es sueño I Marsyas Baroque, Martí Corbera

21 May/19h00 Germany / Alte Feuerwache, Melchiorstraße 3, 50670, Cologne

Symbiosis of flamenco dance and baroque music

Together with the German-Spanish ensemble Marsyas Baroque, dancer and choreographer Martí Corbera interprets a parable by the great Spanish playwright Pedro Calderón de la Barca in his verse drama “La vida es sueño” (“The world as a dream”), allowing baroque music and flamenco dance to intertwine. The interplay of text, dance and music creates a fascinating symbiotic space of sound and movement.
