AULA MEDIEVAL - JOURNEY TO THE WORLD OF WONDERS

For the second time, EGERIA returns to the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) for a new edition of Aula Medieval. Over the course of one week, the members of EGERIA, under the artistic direction of Lucía Martín-Maestro Verbo, will work with undergraduate and postgraduate music students on medieval performance practices that were never captured in notation, exploring historical approaches to improvisation and vocal performance. The residency will conclude with a joint concert featuring EGERIA and the participating students.
