JOURNEY TO THE WORLD OF WONDERS

For the second time, EGERIA is returning to the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) for a new edition of Aula Medieval. Over the course of a week, the members of EGERIA, under the artistic direction of Lucía Martín-Maestro Verbo, will work with undergraduate and postgraduate music students on medieval performance practices that have never been recorded in musical notation, exploring historical approaches to improvisation and vocal performance. The residency will conclude with a joint concert bringing together EGERIA and the participating students.
