From 29 July to 2 August 2026, Itinéraire Baroque will celebrate its 25th edition by inviting the public on a musical journey to the heart of the Périgord Vert. Under the artistic direction of Ton Koopman, the festival will take place in Romanesque churches, chapels and châteaux, creating a dialogue between heritage and early music in exceptional venues.
This anniversary edition pays tribute to Bach, Handel, Rameau, Campra, Lully and C.P.E. Bach through a programme combining major international ensembles, young talents and travelling concerts. The highlight of the festival, the ‘Itinéraire’ day, offers a musical journey through several villages in the Périgord, culminating in an exceptional closing concert featuring the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra & Choir. A unique experience where musical discoveries, a warm, friendly atmosphere and a rich heritage come together against the backdrop of the changing landscapes.
